The 1898 Inn is dedicated to meeting each guest's needs, so breakfast is served according to your schedule! Our beautiful dining table set with fresh seasonal herbs and flowers, lovely linens and appealing food nourishes all five senses.
Guests delight in our unique breakfast which truly celebrates the seasons. We serve the best local, organic produce and eggs. Breakfast begins with your choice of organic coffee, tea, juice and fresh seasonal fruit. Our signature entrees feature organic eggs, seasonal produce and fresh herbs from our garden, accompanied by artisanal breads and pastries.
For those with a lighter appetite a meal of delicious yogurt, granola and fruit is available by request.
We are happy to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. When making your reservation please let us know if your party requires a vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free meal.
Special Occasions
1898 Inn guests often choose to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays with our memorable special occasion services for two. Beautifully arranged with fine china, linen and flowers they may be served in your private room or in the living room, porch or patio. Advance orders are necessary. Please call to make arrangements and obtain pricing. Special Occasion services are available to guests staying a minimum of two nights. Choose one of the following options;
* Traditional English Tea - Elegant afternoon tea service with cakes.
* Custom Cake - Sumptuous cake with sparkling juice or coffee
available afternoon or evening.
* Wine & Appetizers - Red or white wine with savory hors d'oeuvres
served early evening.
* Wine & Chocolate - Red wine with decadent chocolates may be served
early evening or as a turn-down service.
